Drivers in Orlando or Tampa, FL looking to save a lot of money on gas, as well as the planet, should come to Wesley Chapel Nissan and see the 2015 Nissan Leaf. This little electric wonder continues as one of the few all-electric cars on today's market with a real, usable electric range (and a price that won't pop your budget bubble, looking at you, Tesla...) Visit Wesley Chapel Nissan and let our staff show you just how normal never stopping for gas can be.
Unless you've got an extra $40,000 laying around to spend on a Tesla, the 2015 Nissan Leaf has the best range for the money of all-electric cars on the market. The Leaf’s power comes from an 80kw (107hp and 187 lb-ft of torque) electric motor connected directly to the front wheels. You can expect up to 84 miles or range from the 24 kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery in normal use according to the EPA. A 6.6kw onboard charger can fully charge the battery in four hours from any 240 volt outlet, and it’s standard on most Leaf models. With the optional Quick Charge Port (standard on the SL trim) an 80% charge happens in just 30 minutes from a dedicated plug. The Leaf still manages 0-60 mph in less than 10 seconds; that isn't bad considering its all-electric powertrain.
The 2015 Leaf is available in S, SV, and SL trims, all of them nicely equipped. The Leaf S has standard proximity entry, air conditioning, power everything, heated seats, tilt steering, a rearview camera, touchscreen display, Bluetooth, USB iPod input, satellite radio, and a CD player. The Leaf S lacks the standard 6.6kw charger and Quick Charge Port, having a standard 3.6kw charger on board, but those items are optional. The SV trim adds the 6.6kw charger as standard, plus 17" alloy wheels, cruise control, and an upgraded infotainment unit with GPS and Pandora radio. The Quick Charge Port is still optional but comes in a package with LED headlights. The Leaf SL has the Quick Charge Port standard, as well as the LED headlights; it also gets leather upholstery and a solar charging panel on the rear spoiler. SV and SL trim models have an optional Premium package with a Bose stereo and 360-degree view parking camera available as well.
If your daily commute works out to less than 80 miles a day, round-trip, why not buy a 2015 Nissan Leaf and never have to stop for gas again. Come into Wesley Chapel Nissan and let our helpful staff show you just normal the car of the future is to drive.View Leaf Inventory
