Wesley Chapel Nissan is accepting donations to be sent to victims of Hurricane Sandy. Please stop by and help out with any donations you have.

Each year, candidates "run" for right to be named the Honorary Mayor of Wesley Chapel by the Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce (WCCC). For the past year, John Negley of the Florida Hospital Wesley Chapel Foundation has held the coveted fund-raising position.?
In the running this year are Troy Stevenson of Wesley Chapel Nissan and Kenneth Stewart, the owner of Integrated Security Consultants.?
"I'm having fun with it," says Stevenson, who also is president of the newly-formed Lion's Club of Wesley Chapel. "With the money we raise, I'd like to build a park for disabled chiildren."?
Stevenson was able to get a car donated from Wesley Chapel Nissan to raffle off at the WCCC Fall Festival (see page 1). He says that his passion for serving the community makes him the ideal candidate.?
Stewart, on the other hand, is raising money for the Helping Hands Food Pantry of Atonement Lutheran Church on S.R. 54 in Wesley Chapel.?
"I really wanted to highlight this program," he? explains. "I'm amazed by what [Helping Hand] is able to do."?
Stewart says that Helping Hands feeds more than 200 families per week.?
"You might think that there isn't that kind of need in Wesley Chapel," he says. "But, there is." Stewart adds that his goal is literally to, "put a chicken in every pot."?
With only two candidates running for the positon, each will serve, either as Honorary Mayor or Deputy Mayor. The winner is determined by who raises the most money for the Chamber and their respective charities.?
