Nissan Expands Eco Efforts at Mexico Plant

In our last blog post we talked about the eco-friendly Nissan LEAF and how it is gaining serious traction in the marketplace. While producing some of the cleanest cars on the planet is great and all, Nissan isn't stopping there when it comes to reducing its environmental impact. A Nissan manufacturing facility in Aguascalientes, Mexico has recently become the leading plant for renewable energy, brand-wide.

This Nissan production site started its green campaign back?

It's even big on safety

It's even big on safety

  • Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) with Easy-Fill Tire Alert

Underinflated tires can decrease fuel efficiency. Luckily, Versa Note is equipped with TPMS.  An icon on the dash lights up when tire pressure is low. When you fill them, the Easy-Fill Tire Alert  sounds a friendly beep of the horn when they've got enough air.

  • Traction control system (TCS)

The TCS helps you get a grip. When it senses drive-wheel spin, it reduces throttle or applies brake pressure where needed, so your wheels aren't just spinning without actually going anywhere.

  • Anti-lock Braking System…

Take a Spin in the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder

When auto news finds its source in the rust belt of America, people tend to listen. Most recently, reviewers from the Detroit Free Press decided to put the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder through the ringer and see how it stood up next to similar crossovers from competing automakers.

We always knew that there was something special about the Pathfinder. While we truly love all the new Nissan models in our inventory, this CUV has always been?

You can define crossovers by what they are (outsize station wagons that government regulations incentivize manufacturers to build) or you can define them by what they are not (passé minivans, excessive SUVs). They attempt to cover all the bases - to drive like cars, to accommodate kids and friends, to haul stuff, to occasionally go off-road or tow a rowboat. They're even supposed to look stylish.

2014 GTR NOW IN STOCK AT WESLEY CHAPEL NISSAN

I've spent a lot of time over the years on the racetrack and at your typical track day, the vehicles that show up to race are impressively varied. I've spent time on the track running against everything from Porsche 911 GT3s to Spec Miatas, Mustangs and Camaros. I've also spent a good bit of time on track with various Nissan GTR

The Nissan GT-R might be a big and heavy car, but box stock it's capable of putting down some…

The All New Nissan Note Coming Soon to Wesley Chapel Nissan

Like the Renault Modus with which it shares its underpinnings, the Nissan Note is a small car with big ideas, based principally around clever interior packaging. The catch is that no-one seems to give a toss.

  • Comfort

There's plenty of headroom throughout the Note, and even rear legroom is surprisingly good. A decent range of engines including Renault's 1.5 dCi diesel also ensure an acceptable level of refinement on the move.

    Rated 7 out of 10
  • Performance

Small engines abound in the Note, and none is particularly quick. Stick with the 1.5-lite Renault-sourced diesel that's marginally slower but dramatically more…
